For Jig Walks, the leader takes advantage of the closed position to lift the manipulate where the
follower's weight is; he lifts her right hand side to trigger her to kick with her right foot, and vice
versa. This direct manipulation also makes it easy for the leader to extend the move, repeating beats 3
through 6 by again lifting the follower's weight to prevent her moving on to a rock step.

1. M:BL W:BR Start from an closed position, with the leader's left hand holding the follower's right hand. The leader takes a step backward on his left foot, pushing the follower away with his left hand. The follower takes a step backward on her right foot.

2. M:RR W:RL The leader replaces his weight on his right foot. The follower replaces her weight on her left foot.

3. M:KfL W:KfR The leader performs a kick forward with his left foot, kicking to the follower's right hand side. The leader also slightly lifts the follower's right hand side side with his right hand, to lead her to kick rather than triple step. The follower performs a kick forward with her right foot, kicking in between the leader's legs.

4. M:RL W:RR The leader replaces his weight on his left foot, lowering the follower's right hand side to transfer her weight. The follower replaces her weight on her right foot.

The leader also lowers the follower's right hand side and slightly lifts the follower's left hand side with his upper arm under her left shoulder.
