As for the Double Turn Under, in this move the follower turns completely around twice; however, here the
timing of the move fits within the six beats of a normal Turn Under. This means that the move
is difficult to do with fast music; slow or medium tempo music makes the move more possible (although
the speed of the move itself may make it seem incongruous against slow music).
Because of the speed of the move, it is important that the leader starts to lead the turn earlier
than for a normal Turn Under. Starting the lead by beat 4 means that the follower has more than just two
beats to do the double turn. The early lead also gives the follower an indication
that something different is occurring.
Another tip to make the move easier is to let the double turn overflow into the following move—the
follower completes her final rotation as she is stepping back for the next rock step. Combined with the
early lead for the double turn, this means that the follower can use nearly four beats of music to perform
the double turn.
