As the name indicates, the
Swing Out with Texas Tommy is a straightforward combination of a Swing Out with a Texas Tommy. As the
leader moves in front of the follower on beats 3&4 he puts her right arm behind her back, transferring it
to his right hand. After beat 4, the move then proceeds the same as a Texas Tommy.

1. M:BL W:BR Start from an closed position, with the leader's left hand holding the follower's right hand. The leader takes a step backward on his left foot. The follower takes a step backward on her right foot.

2. M:RR W:RL The leader replaces his weight on his right foot. The follower replaces her weight on her left foot.

3. M:eSL W:eSR The leader takes a step slightly to the side on his left foot. The follower takes a step slightly to the side on her right foot.

5. M:HR2R W:FL2R The leader takes a step with his right foot back and behind his other foot, turning 90° to his right, moving out of the way of the follower's step and pulling his right hand to lead the follower to turn. The follower takes a step forward on her left foot, turning 90° to her right.

6. M:TL2R W:TR2L The leader closes his left foot to his right foot, continuing to turn another 90° to his right. The follower closes her right foot to her left foot, turning 90° to her left.

7. M:eBR W:TL4R The leader takes a step slightly backward on his right foot. The follower closes her left foot to her right foot, turning 180° to her right.
