In this Texas Tommy variant, the leader does not turn to face the follower at the completion of her turn.
Instead, as for the Lindy Turn to Reverse Side-by-Side, he moves backwards to end up at the follower's right
hand side, with both partners facing in the same direction. This means that the leader stays facing in the
same direction for the whole of the move.

1. M:BL W:TweFR Start from an open position, with the leader's left hand holding the follower's right hand. The leader takes a step backward on his left foot, momentarily rocking his weight back onto that foot. The follower steps slightly forward on her right foot with a twist step.

2. M:RR W:TwFL The leader replaces his weight on his right foot, drawing his left hand toward himself to lead the follower to step forwards. The follower steps forward on her left foot with a twist step.

3. M:FL W:FR The leader takes a step forward on his left foot, stepping to the left hand side of the follower. The follower takes a step forward on her right foot.

&. M:TR W:TL The leader closes his right foot to his left foot. The follower closes her left foot to her right foot.

4. M:FL W:FR The leader steps forward on his left foot, putting his right hand at the follower's left hand side and transferring her right hand from his left hand to his right hand behind her back. The follower steps forward on her right foot. Unlike in a Lindy Turn, the partners should be side by side, facing in opposite directions at this point.

5. M:SR W:FL4R The leader takes a step to the side on his right foot, stepping just behind the follower and pulling his right hand in a flat semicircle behind his right hip. The follower takes a step forward on her left foot, turning 180° to her right.

6. M:TL W:HR4R The leader closes his left foot to his right foot, continuing to lead the turn that the follower is performing behind his back. The follower takes a step with her right foot back and behind her other foot, continuing to turn another 180° to her right.
